A new chapter begins: the brand new rabbitcoater 2.0 is ready for action. It represents another important step forward in the trenchless rehabilitation of in-house sewage pipes. Its predecessors, the RabbitCoater 1.0 and the BeeCoater, have already proven that dilapidated pipes can be not only temporarily rehabilitated but made durable for over 50 years thanks to the 2-component polyurethane resin. Technology continues to evolve, and trenchless pipe rehabilitation had to become even more efficient and innovative: the rabbitcoater 2.0!
We visited our partner Innoquip GmbH, who designed and developed our new rabbitcoater 2.0. An idea, supported by valuable customer feedback and our own expertise, grew into a project that kept us busy for months. Together with our partner Innoquip GmbH, we redesigned and further developed the coater. Development manager Olrik Heuser recalls:
"The biggest challenge was the weight. We wanted to develop a machine that was not only technically state-of-the-art, but also made everyday life on the construction site noticeably easier. So we took the previous model apart into all its individual parts – pumps, technology, housing – and re-evaluated and optimised everything."
The result is a machine that is designed for practicality and efficiency down to the smallest detail.
The rabbitcoater 2.0 impresses not only with its bright orange appearance, but above all with its inner values. State-of-the-art pump technology, improved sensor technology and a significantly lower weight of less than 40 kg make it the ideal companion on any construction site. Even in narrow spaces or on flat roofs, it can be transported without any problems, which is a real advantage in everyday work.
The coater also sets new standards in terms of maintenance: thanks to replaceable resin and hardener buckets, long downtimes are a thing of the past. And with our proven RabbitResin, which dries in seconds, day construction sites really do remain day construction sites. Control via the RabbitControl app continues to ensure intuitive operation and complete documentation.
Alexander Rybol is responsible for the new design, which gives the machine a futuristic look. "We wanted to show that functionality and design are not mutually exclusive. The rabbitcoater 2.0 is not only an optimal machine, it is also a real eye-catcher on any construction site," explains Olrik Heuser.
The time has come: the rabbitcoater 2.0 is ready and already in use. The first pipes have been successfully renovated, and the first projects are already in the starting blocks. What remains is the anticipation of many more construction sites where the rabbitcoater 2.0 will show its full potential. Now it's time to let the pipes shine in orange!
